Donic BlueGrip J1

The DONIC BLUEGRIP J1 is a premium inverted rubber co-developed with Zhang Jike, merging the Bluestar A top sheet compound with the sponge and pimple geometry of the Bluegrip C series. This fusion creates an extremely dynamic, spin-friendly surface with a powerful catapult effect. The sponge hardness of55°ESN(ESN scale) makes it the firmest in the Bluegrip J lineup, delivering explosive speed and a crisp, direct feel. The top sheet is slightly tacky and exceptionally grippy, allowing aggressive loopers to generate massive spin on both slow and fast strokes. Designed for ambitious offensive players, the J1 excels in close-to-the-table pressure play, where its high gears and low throw angle enable precise, piercing attacks. However, the demanding nature of the rubber requires advanced technique; beginners will find it unforgiving. Durability is excellent thanks to the dense sponge and robust top sheet. It is best suited for controlled OFF- inner-carbon, OFF, and OFF+ composite blades, providing the stability and hardness synergy needed to unlock its full potential. Overall, the BLUEGRIP J1 is a professional-grade weapon for players who prioritize speed and spin without compromise.
