The Butterfly Viscaria is a legendary table tennis blade that has stood the test of time since its launch in 1993. Its 5-ply wood construction with 2 ALC (Arylate Carbon) layers delivers a perfect balance of speed and control for offensive players. The blade is characterized by a crisp, direct feel with a moderate dwell time, enabling heavy topspin and precise placement. The outer ALC layers provide a large sweet spot and excellent consistency, while the core layers contribute to a stable yet lively feedback. With a speed rating of 79 and hardness of 69, the Viscaria offers manageable power that suits all-around attacking playstyles. The flared or straight handle options cater to different grip preferences, and its standard head size (157x150 mm) and 5.8 mm thickness ensure a balanced weight distribution. Whether looping from mid-distance or executing quick counters, the Viscaria remains a versatile tool for players seeking offensive performance without sacrificing control. Its classic status and proven performance make it ideal for intermediate to advanced players.
