The Liang Jingkun ARC Special is a 7-ply offensive table tennis blade from Loki, built on a 5+2 construction that combines wood veneers with Arylate-Carbon layers. Working from the outside in, the build runs Koto, Arylate-Carbon, Ayous, Kiri, and then mirrors back out again for a symmetric 7-layer sandwich. The Koto outer veneers are medium-hard woods, which give the blade a direct, fairly hard and crisp impact feel, while the composite layers deliver plenty of penetrating power and speed. The Arylate-Carbon layers serve to stabilize the blade, greatly enlarging the sweet spot so that off-center hits remain reliable. At the same time, the carbon dampens unwanted vibrations, producing a very clear, defined feedback in the hand rather than a mushy or overly resonant sensation. Overall this is a fast, attack-oriented blade suited to all offensive playing styles, though the manufacturer recommends it for players who already possess well-developed technique, since the high speed demands good control and timing. The blade uses veneers from the brand's highest quality grade. It is available in an FL (concave/flared) handle and features a weight range of approximately 86 to 90 grams.
