Nittaku Neves Wood

The Nittaku Neves Wood is a high-performance 7-ply all-wood table tennis blade designed for aggressive offensive players who demand blistering speed combined with remarkable control. Crafted with carefully selected wood layers, the blade achieves an ideal stiffness-to-weight ratio, resulting in a heavy, solid feel that provides exceptional stability on powerful strokes. The 6.5mm thickness and 90-gram weight contribute to a direct, crisp feedback that allows players to confidently execute fast counter-attacks close to the table. Despite its speed-oriented nature, the blade retains the characteristic ball-holding properties of all-wood constructions, enabling extended dwell time for generating heavy spin on loops and controlled placement on blocks. The medium-hard outer plies deliver a crisp feel, while the inner layers absorb excess vibration, ensuring comfort without sacrificing feedback. This makes the Neves Wood especially versatile: it shines in mid-distance topspin rallies, offers deadly precision for flips and flicks, and provides enough control for service receive and short play. The blade pairs well with modern rubbers, particularly medium-hard tensors or tacky Chinese rubbers, adapting to various playing styles from power-loopers to counter-driving attackers. Overall, the Nittaku Neves Wood is a powerful yet balanced weapon, ideal for advanced players who want to dominate with speed and spin without compromising on control.
