Nittaku Violin

The Nittaku Violin OFF- is a premium 5-ply all-wood offensive blade, crafted with the same meticulous attention to material selection as fine string instruments. Made in Japan, it features a carefully chosen combination of woods that deliver a harmonious blend of speed, control, and feel. With a thickness of 5.3mm and an average weight of 88 grams, the Violin offers a crisp yet elastic response, providing a direct touch with a surprisingly soft and dwell-heavy sensation that enhances spin generation. The blade's OFF- rating places it slightly slower than the iconic Acoustic, making it ideal for attacking players who value control and finesse over sheer power. Its thin profile contributes to a moderate flex, which, combined with the hard outer plies, creates a balanced and linear feedback. The Violin excels in looping techniques, where its extended dwell time allows for heavy spin, while its solid core ensures stability during drives and blocks. The blade is factory-sealed for durability and is available in straight and flared handles. With its classic wood composition and refined playing properties, the Nittaku Violin OFF- appeals to intermediate and advanced players seeking a high-performance blade with exceptional touch and consistency.
