Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft

The Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft is a spin-oriented inverted rubber that prioritizes control and feel without sacrificing offensive capabilities. It features a soft ~40°ESNsponge that enhances dwell time, allowing the ball to sink deeper into the rubber for maximum spin generation on loops, serves, and short touches. The high natural rubber content in the topsheet provides exceptional grip, making it easier to lift backspin balls and produce sharp angles. Compared to the standard Rakza 7, this version has a noticeably higher throw angle, adding safety over the net and greater consistency in rally play. The softer sponge also absorbs incoming power effectively, making blocking and counter-looping more controlled and predictable. The built-in speed glue effect imparts an elastic, responsive feel while remaining easy to handle in short play. This rubber is particularly effective for close-to-the-table loopers who rely on heavy spin and precision rather than outright speed. Overall, the Rakza 7 Soft offers a versatile offensive-to-allround performance with a focus on spin and control, making it an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced players seeking a balanced, high-spin rubber.
